As a thirty-year veteran in the interior design industry, Allyson James joins Kitchens Unlimited with a broad range of knowledge of interior architecture with a passion for kitchen design. Originally from New Orleans with deep familial roots in the restaurant industry, her love of cooking and interiors leads her in the path of her mother, Kitchen Designer Susan Lynch.
Allyson attended the O’More School of Interior Design and received her MA in 17th and 18th Century Decorative Arts from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. After returning to Memphis in 1990, she worked with several high-end residential firms, as well as commercial firms such as JMGR, Architecture, Inc., and HILTON Worldwide.
Allyson has completed projects in Houston, Nashville, Memphis and the Delta and has been featured in Southern Living, Mid-South Magazine, At Home Tennessee, StyleBlueprint and 4Memphis Magazine.
